Employee SMS Program Enrollment

Southland Technology maintains an internal SMS messaging program used exclusively to communicate with current employees regarding operational and employment-related matters.

This program is not used for marketing and is not available to customers or the general public.

SMS messages may include:

• Scheduling updates

• Project notifications

• Company announcements

• Internal reminders

• Links to secure company-hosted forms (e.g., daily job forms, confirmations, acknowledgments, or internal requests)

Message frequency varies based on operational needs.

Employees enroll in the Southland Technology Internal SMS Program by completing an internal onboarding form that includes a clear SMS consent disclosure and a required checkbox.

The consent language provided to employees is as follows:

Employees must actively check the box and submit the form to enroll.
Consent is not a condition of employment.

Employees may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message received.

For assistance, employees may reply HELP.

Message and data rates may apply depending on the employee’s mobile carrier and plan.
