Southland Technology, Inc., a leader in Symantec data protection, data security and data archiving solution consulting, announced today the company has been awarded a contract by the State of California to provide Symantec software license and software maintenance solutions via the Software Licensing Program (SLP).
The SLP is administered by the Department of General Services, Procurement Division. Extensive software discounts are negotiated with major software publishers that are then passed on to the state through the SLP contracts established with authorized participating resellers.
